£100 grand for Graham?

An up-and-coming Cork comedian is a finalist in an outrageous new show which pits comedians against one another for a whopping prize of £100,000 and their own series.

Graham Francis will go up against 9 other Irish and UK comedians in the OnlyFans Creative Fund: Comedy Edition, a competition-based reality TV show where comedians are put through a number of tasks in a 4 part series hosted by Jack Guinness.

Corkman Graham, 31, is a father of one who once moved to Japan on a total whim, where he “didn’t speak the language, had no job, no money and no apartment”.

He did however meet his now wife there, so it all worked out in the end. He has a self-professed taste for pushing limits in his personal life, which is reflected in his comedy style. Creative Fund: Comedy Edition is free to watch on streaming platform OFTV every Friday for the coming 3 weeks, with the first episode having already aired on 30 January.

The funniest person, as judged by UK comedy stars Mae Martin, Jamali Maddix and London Hughes, will walk away with £100,000. 2 runners-up will each receive £25,000.

Over 4 serialised weekly shows, host Jack Guinness and comedian Sofie Hagen will guide the 10 contestants in a number of knockout tasks as they journey to the grand finale. Viewers will see first-hand the highs and lows of trying to make it as a comedian as the finalists are asked to create a viral comedy video, write for another contestant, and write a 5 minute set on sex and relationships (which they later discover is for a group of pensioners enjoying a buffet lunch).

Each episode will see contestants knocked out, whittling the finalists down to just 6 who compete in a stand-up show in front of a live London audience.

In its 3rd iteration of the show since launching in 2021 and has established OnlyFans’ Creative Fund series as a launchpad for up-and-coming talent in different creator categories.
