Somas launch capsule clothing collection
One of my favourite brands Somas - who do the most absolute luxuriously scented candles, diffusers and room sprays - has now launched a capsule clothing collection for spring/summer 23.
Somas is an Irish word translating to ease or comfort and this collection certainly brings to mind an easy elegance and pieces that you will cherish in your wardrobe for many years to come. Every piece in the collection has been selected for its ability to become your new wardrobe staple with a luxury feel to the quality.
From lounging at home to dancing into the early hours - thanks to the beautiful materials, careful craftsmanship and design versatility, each garment and accessory can be worn in so many different ways with limitless styling possibilities meaning you can play around with the pieces, and they can be dressed up or down with ease.
The inspiration behind the collection was taking lounge pieces we know and love and giving them a new lease of life. The primary materials in the collection are 100% cotton, 100% merino wool, 100% genuine leather and TENCEL and these fabrics are used as they are not only beautiful to wear and durable ensuring longevity of the garments and accessories - they are also more sustainable!
Breton striped jumpers in navy and nude are absolutely must haves in the collection and really can be worn all year round. Wear with denim jeans or even throw on with denim shorts on those chilly summer evenings.

We couldn’t forget about accessories and the Somas capsule collection features the most beautiful handbags which are the perfect pairing for any of the looks. My favourite has to be the Freya brown cloud bag, she is truly a beauty. It’s a chocolate brown leather clutch with a uniquely cloud like shape and can be worn as a handbag with the short strap or as a crossbody.
The Frankie bag is also a fantastic bag and is so versatile as with additional straps and adjustable handle you can wear it crossbody or as a shoulder or wrist bag. It’s made of leather and has beautiful gold hardware making it look expensive but it’s actually a great price at €150.
