Gardaí at Watercourse Road investigating the fatal assault renewed their appeal for information.

Taxi driver asked to come forward

Gardaí in Cork have this morning issued a fresh appeal for information into the fatal assault of a man on the northside of the city.

68 year old Florence O’Sullivan died at CUH on 6 April from injuries sustained in the course of an incident at Glentrasna Court, The Glen on 11 March.

A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said: “Gardaí at Watercourse Road investigating the fatal assault renewed their appeal for information. Investigating gardaí are renewing their appeal to the public for assistance and continue to appeal for witnesses and those with video footage to come forward.”

They are also appealing for information on a white Volkswagen taxi that was observed in the Glentransna Court area between 8pm and 8.20pm on Saturday 11 March and are asking the driver of this taxi to make contact with them.
