After all, it's been 30 years!

There’s a new Cork person(s) of the month and this time it’s a well known Cork band.

The Frank and Walters band is the April winner as they celebrate 30 years since their classic hit ‘After All’ was released.

The band's classic Indie hits have charted inside and outside Ireland and they continue to do sell-out tours in England, Europe and the US.

The band members are lead vocalist and bassist Paul Linehan, drummer Ashley Keating, lead guitarist Rory Murphy and Cian Corbett on keyboards. Their epic anthem ‘After All’ was voted Cork’s favourite song in an online poll organised by Cork City Library. Awards organiser Manus O’Callaghan said: “You’ve heard it sung at every party in Cork, and in a classic scene on ‘The Young Offenders’ - indeed when my son got married in New York he wanted a Cork element in the ceremony so ‘After All’ provided that.”
