If you’re a fan of ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ then you’re in for a treat, as ‘Buffy Revamped’, a parody of the hit TV show, is coming to The Everyman this month.

The performance is a comedy take on the iconic series, and this fast-paced new production brings you the entire 144 episodes of the hit ‘90s TV show, ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’, as told through the eyes of the one person who knows it inside out, Spike.

Funny, satirical and bursting with ‘90s pop-culture references, it’s the perfect parody for Buffy aficionados as well as those who might never have enrolled at Sunnydale High.

Written and directed by Brendan Murphy, the show lasts 70 minutes and takes theatre-goers on a whistlestop tour through the Buffy universe.

The Everyman will host the show on Sunday 25 June, featuring 2 performances at 6pm and 9pm.

Speaking about the upcoming show in Cork, Brendan said: “We've had such an incredible turnout so far with Buffy fans of all stripes coming out in full force, packing out theatres across the UK & Ireland and celebrating their shared love of all things Buffy The Vampire Slayer. And I’m very happy to make a return to my ancestral home of Ireland.”

A London-based actor, improviser and comedian, Brendan has toured across the US and Canada as part of the Olivier Award-nominated ‘Potted Potter’. An seasoned improviser, Brendan is a member of BBC Radio One's BattleActs! and has been a guest player for Second City and Monkey Toast Players.

Brendan's creativity extends to the world of podcasting, where he co-writes the satirical comedy podcast NonCensored alongside Rosie Holt. Additionally, he is currently collaborating with Oliver Izod on an upcoming musical comedy titled ‘The Last Library’, promising a delightful and entertaining experience for audiences.
