Performers at the Centre Stage School in Mallow rehearse for the school’s 20th birthday show.

20 years gone, plenty years to go

A North Cork centre of excellence in the performing arts is celebrating an important birthday this year, and what a birthday bash they have planned!

On 29 February at 7pm, the Centre Stage School in Mallow will celebrate its 20th birthday at the one and only Cork Opera House.

With current students, past students, teachers, parents, friends, and performers all involved in the celebrations, lucky audience members can expect an unforgettable night of music, song, laughter, and nostalgia, as the beloved school celebrates its past while looking to the future.

Featuring songs and dances from their favourite musicals, as well as dance performances from their award-winning company dance troupes, the evening promises to be a heart-warming and nostalgic journey back through the 20 years of classes.

“Rehearsals and preparations are well under way, and we look forward to welcoming our audience for an amazing night,” said a spokesperson for the school.

A limited number of tickets are still available for the show on 29 February, but they are likely to go fast, so book early to avoid disappointment! To book, visit corkoperahouse.ie.
