Everyone can now help to choose the winners of the 67th annual Cork Business of the Year Awards.

The Cork Business Association (CBA) this week unveiled the finalists of the awards, which will be emceed by RTÉ’s Paschal Sheehy. The overall winners will be announced at the CBA’s annual President’s Dinner in the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Little Island on Saturday 13 April.

The awards recognise the outstanding contribution of businesses and individuals working diligently across varied sectors of business in Cork city.

The CBA awards recognise exceptional, unique, and resilient businesses in Cork city. From pioneering ventures to those demonstrating remarkable growth, or adapting in the face of ongoing challenges, these awards spotlight the very best businesses in Cork city in 2023.

The categories include best retail business, best digital business, best tourism and arts event as well as best restaurant, best cafe, best pub, best hotel, best family business and many more.

Among the nominated businesses are Crawford Gallery, Cork on a Fork, Franciscan Well, Cameron Bakery, Anglers and Cork International Hotel.

President of CBA Kevin Herlihy said: “The businesses shortlisted have demonstrated that they can grow or adapt or innovate in challenging times. Success wears many different hats. To some, it’s bunkering down and keep the doors open to provide a vital service for our city, while others have innovated, pivoted or grown.” The finalists were decided by an independent judging panel. Tickets are on sale at corkbusiness.ie. The event will help raise funds for the Rainbow Club.
