Winemaker Juliette Baldès of Clos Triguedina will be the guest of city merchants Bubble Brothers at the Bright Side café next week.

Wine flies when you’re having fun!.

If malbec is your thing, then a tasting event next week will really pique your interest.

Malbec wines from France will be the focus on Thursday 28 March when winemaker Juliette Baldès of Clos Triguedina will be the guest of city merchants Bubble Brothers at the Bright Side café on Washington Street.

Juliette is the seventh generation of her family to make wine in Cahors, south-west France, the original home of the Malbec grape. The estate's famous red wines are established favourites at Bubble Brothers, and Juliette is looking forward to her first trip to Cork for an informal evening of stories and sampling, as she takes the reins from her parents.

Tickets for the evening which starts at 7pm, are available from bubblebrothers.ie.
