With the acquisition of GoBus, Irish Citylink will become one of the largest private land transport companies in Ireland.

Citylink and GoBus are becoming one

Work is set to commence to fully incorporate the GoBus brand into Irish Citylink.

From next month, there will be changes to the livery on former GoBus vehicles while the GoBus logo will be removed from the company’s website, as well as other minor cosmetic changes to reflect the incorporation.

The work is being done to ensure passenger clarity on Citylink routes and to enhance consistency across the company’s services from booking, to travel, to post-travel experience. Citylink’s hope is that customers will recognise that while their livery or uniforms may be different, the standards of service, reliability, friendliness, and community that were a hallmark of GoBus after many years of successful operation, remain the same as part of Irish Citylink.

Customers are encouraged to keep an eye on Citylink’s social media platforms for updates on the changes.

The company has also reassured customers that the upcoming works will have no effect on its timetables or operations across its routes. For all bookings, timetables, and other information, customers should head to citylink.ie.
