'Amazing winners'

A recent event in Cork saw some exceptional women from all walks of life celebrated.

The Villa Maria Women of Vision Awards 2024 were held recently in the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Little Island, with a capacity audience attending the annual event.

The event was attended by An Taoiseach Simon Harris TD who surprised his colleague, mentor and friend Frances Fitzgerald MEP with a Lifetime Achievement Award for her many decades of public service as she is retiring from politics. An Taoiseach delivered a speech recognising the hugely important role that women have in all strands of Irish life.

CEO of Hi Style who organised the event, Mary Jane O' Regan, said: “From thousands of nominees this year, our judges had the difficult task of selecting our 40 winners and what amazing winners they are.

“They really epitomise all that is good about life, work ethic, and so much more, and we are thrilled to honour them.”

Mary-Jane also said that guests enjoyed a night filled with positivity and a three course meal and entertainment.

“The atmosphere in the room was electric,” she said.

Awards were presented to 40 recipients across all sectors of Irish life.
