Awards a key highlight in Cork's business calendar
A prestigious evening of ambition, resilience and achievement is how Network Cork’s President Cathy Fitzgibbon described its recent awards night.
With a focus on sustainability, the Businesswomen of the Year Awards, a key highlight in Cork's business calendar, celebrated women in business across eight categories, recognising emerging and established leaders, entrepreneurs, creatives, STEM professionals, and rising talent within organisations.
Cathy Fitzgibbon said: “As we acknowledge 30 remarkable businesswomen shaping Cork’s business community, we’re also embracing our responsibility to lead with purpose. From conscious event choices to opportunities for carbon offsetting, this flagship event reflects our drive to reduce environmental impact and champion more sustainable, thoughtful ways of connecting and celebrating success.
“Thank you to our guest speakers, sponsors, judges, finalists and valued members for enabling us to host these renowned business awards. With special thanks to our official partner AIB and the Local Enterprise Office Cork City, our local sponsor.”
In addition, ticket prices included a carbon offset contribution, underscoring Network Ireland Cork’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmentally conscious business practices.
