Making Cork a destination for luxury German travellers

Tourism Ireland, together with 11 tourism operators from Ireland, including some from Cork has taken part in a luxury roadshow with Loop, a luxury platform, in Germany this month. The workshops took place in Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg and Cologne recently.

The Loop Hours workshops in the four German cities provide a valuable platform for Tourism Ireland and partners to connect and do business with German luxury travel buyers. The aim is to inspire the German travel professionals about all that Ireland has to offer and to win a greater share of their business for 2025 and beyond.

Nadine Lehmann, Tourism Ireland’s Manager Germany, said: “Aligning with our ambition to deliver increased revenue, Tourism Ireland is working hard to win a greater share of the German luxury travel market. Our participation in the Loop Hours luxury workshops this month provides us with a great opportunity to promote Ireland’s luxury tourism offering.

“The format of pre-scheduled, one-to-one appointments and networking allows our partners to connect with influential German luxury tour operators and travel agents, ensuring Ireland is ‘top of mind’ for them when recommending destinations to their clients in 2025 and beyond,” she added.
