Help is now at hand
A charity which helps adults with physical and sensory disabilities is set to benefit from a new partnership with a company based in Ringaskiddy.
Abode has been announced as the charity partner of Johnson & Johnson (J&J) Innovative Medicine Ringaskiddy for 2025. Across the year, J&J employees will volunteer their time to support a range of activities aimed at promoting well-being and enhancing the existing supportive environment provided by Abode. From maintenance work at the charity’s centre in Blackrock, to facilitating workshops, and carrying out fundraising initiatives to support the provision of critical services.
Lorna Hughes, Chief Executive Officer, Abode said: “Abode is honoured to have been chosen as J&J’s charity partner for 2025. This partnership will further our mission of enabling people to live the lives of their choosing to the fullest potential and ensure that our service users continue to have the resources and support that enables their active participation in their communities.”
Through this partnership, J&J has promised to provide “meaningful support” to Abode, reinforcing a shared commitment to empowering individuals and building inclusive communities.
