One of Cork’s credit unions to Inspire prospective home owners

The mortgage market in Ireland has seen some significant changes in recent years with many more providers entering the market.

Most of them are credit unions, who are member-owned institutions, unlike banks.

New lending rules have allowed more credit unions to issue mortgages and the mortgage loan book held by credit unions across the country has increased hugely over the last few years.

Now Inspire Credit Union, Bishopstown are offering mortgage services to their members.

A spokesperson for Inspire Credit Union said: “Whether you are buying your first home, moving to a new property, or looking to switch your existing mortgage, we are there to support you at every stage.

“With a personal, member-focused approach, a competitive variable mortgage interest rate, and clear, honest guidance throughout the process, we are committed to helping you achieve your homeownership goals.”

The team understand that buying a home is one of the most important decisions you’ll ever make, and they are there to ensure you feel supported, informed, and confident every step of the way.
