All Ireland Preview: Referees chosen for All Ireland finals
The referees for this weekend’s camogie finals have been chosen.
Justin Heffernan of Blackwater in Wexford has been appointed to referee the senior final, a blockbuster clash between reigning champions Cork and last year’s runners-up Galway.
Enda Loughnane of Oranmore in Galway will oversee the Premier Junior Final, which sees 2024 finalists Laois face off against Armagh.
Donnacha O’Callaghan of Feohanagh Castlemahon in Limerick will take charge of the Intermediate Final featuring Kerry and Offaly.
Uachtarán an Chumainn Camógaíochta, Brian Molloy said: “Congratulations to Enda, Donnacha and Justin for their outstanding contributions to the 2025 Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Camogie Championships to date.
Refereeing an All-Ireland Final is a huge honour, not only for the officials involved, but for their families, clubs and counties. Thank you also to Evoke, our National Referee Sponsor, who continue to support our officials and the Camogie Association.”
Taking to Facebook, Wexford Camogie congratulated Justin Heffernan.
A post said: “We’re incredibly proud to see Justin Heffernan appointed as the referee for the 2025 All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship Final on 10 August. A tremendous honour for Justin, his family, club, and county — and a proud moment for Wexford camogie!
“Wishing you the very best on the big day — we’ll all be cheering you on!”
