Anna Geary to host event in aid of kids with cancer

A special event this Sunday offers people the chance to enjoy a tasty brunch, hear from great speakers and help families affected by childhood cancer.

Hand in Hand, a Galway-based national charity supporting families affected by childhood cancer, is to host a wellness brunch at the Kingsley Hotel on Sunday 14 September from 10am-12.30pm.

The event will be hosted by media personality Anna Geary, the former Cork camogie star and wellness advocate. With a fantastic line up of speakers, guests will enjoy a morning of inspiration, connection and practical wellbeing tools.

Attendees will also enjoy a nourishing brunch at the Kingsley, a super raffle with fantastic prizes and the chance to support families in Cork and across Ireland affected by childhood cancer.

''Every ticket sold will directly help us to provide practical and emotional supports- from household cleaning, laundry services, family meal delivery, play therapy and counselling for families in Cork who are affected by the devastating impact of a childhood cancer diagnosis, '' said Caroline O'Connor, Fundraising Manager at Hand in Hand.
