Munster Bovine moo-ve on board
Based in Mallow, Munster Bovine has been in business since the 1940s providing Irish farmers with genetics that continues to improve herd performance across both the beef and dairy sectors.
Munster Bovine now joins more than 55 patrons of Agri Aware, further strengthening the agri-food educational body’s mission to enhance agricultural literacy among the public.
Martin Kavanagh, Chief Executive of Munster Bovine said: “We are very happy to support the valuable work carried out by Agri-aware. I look forward to contributing to their role in making sure that the value to our communities that farming brings is appreciated by the wider society. Our strength comes from engagement with initiatives like this to both improve farmers lives and incomes, as well as contributing to the wider community.”
Agri Aware Chairman Shay Galvin who said: “We are very pleased to welcome Munster Bovine as the latest patron of Agri Aware. In recent years we have seen the two-pronged effect of not only better genetics with regards to herd performance but also the environmental benefits improved genetics on farms can offer in the form of reduced emissions.

The company has an extensive base of customers in Munster and Galway and offers a wide range of services such as the AI technician service, milk recording, herd health, breeding and fertility advice.
