Sod turned on new garda station
The sod has been turned on a new divisional garda station in Macroom.
The proposed state of the art facility represents a significant investment in policing, community safety and public infrastructure for the south. The new station will serve as the Divisional HQ for Cork County Garda Division, supporting the Government’s commitment to building stronger, safer communities by strengthening An Garda Síochána, expanding resources and modernising facilities to tackle crime.
