Catch City’s game in Midleton on the big screen!
Cork City FC has confirmed their away fixture against Longford Town this Saturday will be shown live at Arc Cinemas Midleton for the first time.
The Turner’s Cross club are top of the SSE Airtricity Men's First Division table by three points with a game in hand after 14 games after beating the team in second, UCD last Friday.
The club and Arc Cinemas recently announced the renewal of their partnership which has seen several games screened live to fans. The partnership helps families and supporters of the club that may not be able to travel the long distances to away games but still experience a matchday atmosphere and see the game live.
This is the first screening of a Cork City FC game in the Arc Cinema’s redeveloped Midleton location and the second game shown on the big screen this season.
Commercial Manager at Cork City FC, Anthony O’Sullivan said: “We are delighted to bring Cork City FC games to Midleton for the first time. The Arc Cinema screenings have been a huge success with fans in the city centre location since the partnership began in 2025. It’s a fantastic way to soak in the atmosphere of a matchday if you can’t make the trip up to Longford. There’s always a positive reaction from fans attending the Arc Cinema screenings, and it's a great family-friendly event.”
Mark Gallagher, Marketing Manager at The Arc Cinema Group said: “Since the redevelopment of our Midleton and Mallow cinemas, showing a Cork City game in one of these locations has been one of our top priorities. We are thrilled to expand this partnership and bring Cork City games to the wider Cork area.
“It is the perfect Saturday evening activity and we look forward to welcoming fans to see the game and cheer on the Rebels as they continue their title and promotion charge.”
Tickets start from €7.95, with a tiered pricing system up to €13.95 and are available on the Arc Cinema’s website midleton.arccinema.ie/whatson/specialevent3.
