Everseen and City renew partnership for new season
A Cork-based technology company recently announced the renewal of its partnership with Cork City FC.
Everseen, a provider of Vision AI solutions for retailers, will continue as the lead, front-of-shirt sponsor for all six of the club's Academy teams for the upcoming season.
The sponsorship will support the boys' U20, U15, U14, and U13 teams, as well as the girls' U23 and U17 teams. The partnership also includes a bursary fund for player mental health and a development fund to help Academy prospects transition to professional contracts.
The partnership has already seen great success, with several Academy players moving up to the senior teams. In 2025, six players—Cillian Murphy, Ike Manjoor-Georwill, Charlie Hanover, Brody Lee, Donal O’Connor, and Luke Downey—signed professional contracts with the Men's Team. The Women's Academy has also been a strong pathway to the senior team, with Holly O'Hagan, Clodagh Fitzgerald, Ciara O'Driscoll, and Leah O'Leary all advancing to the Cork City women’s first team.
CCFC’s Director of Football Liam Kearney said: “Cork City FC Academy has a strong history for producing talent that go on to represent our club, and bigger clubs internationally, and represent our country. We have seen the likes of Caoimhín Kelleher, Jake O'Brien, John Egan, Alan Browne, Adam Idah and Chiedozie Ogbene all come through Cork clubs and go on to achieve great things for their respective clubs and at international level.”
Helen Woodfield, VP of Marketing at Everseen, said: “As a Cork-born company, we're passionate about the success of our local community. We are incredibly proud to continue our partnership with Cork City FC, an institution that does so much for young people in Cork. Sport is a fantastic way for young men and women to develop their potential, and we are delighted to be a part of their journey.”
