Vogue thriving with fourth child on the way

Podcaster and reality TV star Vogue Williams, who is pregnant with her fourth child, has said that whilst she is “wrecked” at the moment her dream is to write a novel in the next few years.
Speaking at the Thrive for your Best Life festival in Cork on 23 May, the 40 year old said that she was “toying with the idea of writing a book”.
“I’ve just finished working on a script for something. I love writing. I have always wanted to do fiction but a huge amount of time goes in to it. I think that (fiction) might be next on the list.”
Williams travelled to Cork for a girls weekend with her young daughter, Gigi, whilst her husband reality TV star Spencer Matthews completed an endurance event in North Wales. Williams had a far more relaxed weekend.
Williams told the crowd at the the festival in the Marina Market in the city that has always found pregnancy to be “really really tough”.
“I find it really hard. That is why when I have the baby, I just jump out of my house as I am so excited to get out as I feel more me again. This is definitely my last!
“Work is going really well but I’m actually not that busy. I think I look busier than I am. The start of pregnancy is horrendous so I kind of am a bit quieter this year so I can not feel like I am doing too much.
“I have to admit and I try and I deny it all the time, and don’t tell anyone, but I am wrecked.”
She described getting pregnant as her highlight in a year which has seen her take part in both ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’ and BBC’s ‘Gladiators’.
Williams says that at this stage she doesn’t say “yes to everything” she is offered.
“I say no to a lot of things. But I say yes to things that make sense to me and things I know I will enjoy and things I know my family will enjoy. I thought they would love ‘Gladiators’, so I said yes to ‘Gladiators’. But they couldn’t give a shit on Christmas Day when it was on TV. Doing ‘Gladiators’ was a childhood dream for me.”
Meanwhile, Vogue told interviewer and runner Chris Connolly that she loved the idea of the Thrive festival which saw people attend a wide range of classes including pilates, HIIT, strength training, sounds baths plus sauna and ice bath experiences.
The event, in association with Breast Cancer Ireland, drew huge crowds to the popular market. She described exercise as an important part of her life.
“Health and fitness is what keeps me tip top. I am still training. I stopped running about a month ago. I still walk a lot. I do weights at the gym. You do get funny looks (doing weights when you are pregnant).
“I would say to people put exercise a or walk (in to your schedule) the same way you would a meeting. They say it takes three weeks to build a habit and after three weeks you will start to really enjoy it. You will start to feel much better in yourself. It is something that I really look forward to.
I do think it helps if you team up with a mate and go for a walk or a fitness class with them. It makes it more fun to do.”
She said that she was “well aware” that people’s perceptions of her changed a lot when she started podcasting.
“ If you are listening to a podcast you get an insight in to someone and their opinions and thoughts. Whereas with social media you just get a snap chat of someone’s day. That is part of their day. It is not necessarily what they are up to all the time.”
The ‘My Therapist Ghosted Me’ podcaster urged attendees to be fully aware that life on social media isn’t always quite as marvellous as it appears to be. She cited the example of influencers on ‘holiday’ who spend so much time doing content that you “probably wouldn’t want to be on the trip.”
