The Buffy quiz returns

After a sold-out first edition in September last year, the Buffyverse Quiz in returning to Cork for a second round, this time with a dedicated round of questions to honour the iconic Anthony Stewart Head, who passed away early last month.

The quiz will be happening Friday 10 July from 7.30pm in An Spailpín Fánach on South Main Street.

From spells and witches to slayers, Buffy-lore, vampires, and the show’s unforgettable soundtrack, every round is designed for fans who know their Hellmouth history inside-out.

Whether you’re a casual watcher or still quoting lines from ‘Once More, with Feeling’, there will be something to test your knowledge - and loyalty to your favourite Scooby.

For the organisers, it’s another chance to bring a community together.

“The first one was so much fun, the place was full to the brim.

“Buffy fans in Ireland don’t really have any opportunities to connect with other people about the show - to some extent it was met with stigma back in the day.

“So it was a joy for everyone to have the craic and test their knowledge and remember the show, the music, and the characters,” said one of the organisers.

With strong early interest and places limited, fans are encouraged to grab their spots quickly.
