Leahy's continues to evolve

A much-loved family attraction in East Cork celebrated 30 years of fun and farming this week.

Since opening in 1996, Leahy's Open Farm has grown from a traditional working farm into one of Ireland's best-loved family destinations. While much has changed over the past three decades, the farm has remained true to its founding values of family, community and creating memorable experiences for visitors of all ages.

Today, under the stewardship of Donal and Teresa Leahy, the business continues to evolve, introducing new attractions and experiences while maintaining the warm welcome that has become synonymous with the Leahy name.

Reflecting on the anniversary, Teresa Leahy said the occasion is about celebrating the families who have supported the farm throughout its journey.

Teresa believes the success of the farm has always been built on its people.

While the anniversary provided an opportunity to reflect on three decades of growth, Teresa said the focus is also firmly on the future.

She said: "We're constantly looking at ways to improve the experience for our visitors while staying true to our roots as a family farm. Celebrating 30 years is a proud achievement, but we're just as excited about what comes next."
