Time to concentrate on our hands

A global first in cutting edge hand care will hit Cork shelves next month.

Two years ago, Trinny London transformed neck care with The Elevator, their bestselling neck and décolleté concentrate – and now, they’re bringing that same high-performance skincare to your hands.

The two-step protocol includes their high potency Take Back Time Hand Concentrate and transformative Take Back Time Microneedle to help restore lost volume, visibly fade dark spots, and smooth crepey texture on your hands while you sleep.

For years, company founder and CEO, Trinny Woodall has been searching for a way to move hand care from a daytime cosmetic that gets washed away to a high-performance, evening ritual that works overnight.

Trinny said: “Until now, the only real method of seeing results on your hands was clinical treatments, but I’ve been obsessing over a solution. Introducing Take Back Time Overnight Hand Transformation – our groundbreaking, clinic-inspired protocol combines a cutting-edge hand concentrate with a high-performance microneedle to target crepiness, pigmentation, and fullness.”

The Take Back Time Hand Concentrate is powered by C-17 signal peptides, so precious they’re kept under lock and key and are more expensive than gold. Designed to tackle crepey texture, these high-performance actives help smooth and refine the look of skin. Deep-delivery alpha arbutin and bio-retinoid target the appearance of dark spots, while an L-Ornithine lipo-complex helps plump skin and to restore lost volume.

Paired with the Trinny London Take Back Time Microneedle, the concentrate’s results are amplified, helping it penetrate deeper into the skin. Its ultra-fine needles create tiny microchannels that encourage the skin’s natural healing process, without any downtime. Working in tandem with the concentrate, the microneedle also helps minimise the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven texture.

In a 12 week clinical study on 32 women aged between 45 and 70, Trinny London reported that 87% saw hand volume visibly restored in four weeks; 88% saw visibly less prominent veins in four weeks; up to 62% saw a visible reduction of dark spots in eight weeks; and in just seven nights, users saw crepey skin smoothed by up to 28%.

How to use

Apply in the evening time, so the concentrate has uninterrupted time to work while you sleep. To apply, rest your hand flat on a stable surface. Working in small sections, roll your microneedle back and forth, twice horizontally and twice vertically. Use light, feathering motions, and don’t exert any force or pressure. Then apply pumps of Take Back Time Hand Concentrate to the back of clean, dry hands and massage until fully absorbed. Head to bed without washing off the concentrate, allowing it to work overnight. Trinny London recommends using the hand concentrate daily, and microneedle three times a week.

Take Back Time Overnight Hand Transformation RRP (€84) will be available from 6 October at Brown Thomas and online at trinnylondon.com.
