Leeside is on the edge of its seat this morning, Thursday, with the imminent announcement a mystery gig in Pairc Uí Chaoimh.

The announcement will go live at 8am sharp this morning. It follows a number of teaser videos published by Aiken Promotions showing a “special delivery” box being wheeled into various GAA stadiums around the country, including Cork’s Pairc Uí Chaoimh. The other stadiums named are Nowlan Park, Kilkenny; TUS Gaelic Grounds, Limerick; Pearse Stadium, Galway; and Boucher Road Playing Fields, Belfast.

The drop has sent Leeside music lovers into a frenzy of speculation as to who or what will be announced later this morning. One name bouncing around is that of country superstar Garth Brooks. Páirc Uí Chaoimh’s last major concert was in June 2026 when Zach Bryan came to town.

Other names making the rounds online are Irish indie folk group Kingfishr, Fontaines D.C., Westlife, and rapper Macklemore.
