Róisín getting to the art of it

The Montenotte Hotel is turning inside out for the remainder of 2019. The hotel is featuring a collection of oil paintings by artist Róisín O’Farrell, titled Inside and Out. The collection will be on display until January as part of the hotel's artist in residence programme.

The collection includes Ms O’Farrell’s trademark interior paintings as well as landscape paintings. The artwork represents both inside and outside the home.

There is also a collection of landscape paintings on display that feature scenes from West Cork and Wicklow.

The Montenotte Hotel’s General Manager, Brian Bowler said: “Róisín’s work is instantly recognisable for its fresh bright colour and vibrant energy. We are proud to support local Irish artists whilst also bringing unique and interesting works of art to the hotel for our guests and visitors to appreciate. Róisín O’Farrell is the most high profile artist we have worked with to date, and her paintings add enormously to the hotel’s own art collection and the vibrancy of The Montenotte.”
