Kinsale’s Lemon Leaf Café has officially launched its new exciting evening experience.
Late at the Leaf is a bold departure from the traditional café format. The experience is inspired by London’s trailblazing food scene and features modern small-plate dining with global influences, curated cocktails, natural wines, craft beers and live DJ sets.
Head Chef and former executive chef at the five-star Fota Island Resort Tomasz Pawlak strives to always bring a fine dining experience to the table. He has years of experience in the field and has worked alongside renowned chefs like JP McMahon at Michelin-starred Aniar and Cava Bodega in Galway. His passion for foraging wild ingredients and love for nature-driven cuisine have completely revamped The Lemon Leaf and its vision for the future.
Tracy Keoghan, founder of Lemon Leaf Café said: “One of the most exciting additions under Tomasz’s leadership has been Late at the Leaf, a stylish small-plates concept that captures the creativity and flair of his culinary journey. It’s something truly unique for Kinsale.”
She added that: “We’re rethinking what evenings in Kinsale can look like. Late at the Leaf is all about flavour, energy, and community, it’s a space where everyone can feel welcome and inspired.”
This isn’t the only big change at Lemon Leaf. Just last year the café expanded and set up a new outpost at the iconic Charles Fort. The café offers the perfect blend between heritage with hospitality along with stunning seaside views and fresh, locally sourced fare.
Tracy Keoghan explained that: “We wanted to create something that complements the history of Charles Fort while offering the same Lemon Leaf warmth and quality our guests know and love.”
Whether you're looking for a chill evening with friends to relax and unwind or looking to move to the hottest Dj sets, Late at the Leaf offers a whole new reason to stay out late in Kinsale. Lemon Leaf Café at Charles Fort is open Thursday – Monday from 10am to 5pm. Late at the Leaf runs every Friday & Saturday evening from 6.30pm to late.
