London DJ Carter to bring heritage to Leeside

Hailing from the vibrant cultural hub of north-west London, gifted DJ and producer Isaac Carter is set to make his long-awaited Leeside debut this Friday. From 9.30pm-2.30am, Carter will deliver an unforgettable evening’s worth of his imposing musical heritage at The Pav on Carey’s Lane in Cork city.

Exclusively his own, Carter’s captivating sound has echoed through the hallowed grounds of some of London’s most esteemed venues including KOKO, Phonox, Village Underground, venue MOT, and Fabric, as well as iconic Spain venue DC10.

With an acclaimed residency under his belt at London-based community radio station Rinse FM, Carter’s blend of deep Chicago and Detroit house dexterously infused with contemporary UK dance is unmistakable.

Under the colourful, urban backdrop of north-west London, Carter started making music as a child, honing his eclectic palette under the watchful eye of his diverse city.

It has been an exciting few years for Carter who released his debut EP ‘Ninesville’ in 2020. In 2023, he launched his record label Ochi, a name inspired by his Jamaican heritage. With three renowned releases to date, Carter’s star is very much on the rise. With Generic People once again bringing the visual goods, and End Up residents on warm up duties, expect another night of low slung body shaking house music at The Pav tonight (Friday).
