Principal social workers and team leaders celebrate Pride at the quarterly Team Leader Forum.

Tusla Cork makes first festival appearance with loads of Pride

It was a fun-filled day with the sun shining, colour bright and music blaring. Children, care leavers, staff and supporters walked with Tusla underpinning the important message for staff and for the children and families that the fostering organisation work with, that Tusla walks with Pride.

This was Tusla Cork’s first outing at the festival; however, plans are already in play to make it an annual event.

On the eve of the Pride Parade, Tusla Fostering attended another fun-filled event at the annual Family Fun Day in FitzGerald’s Park.

This was to celebrate the Pride festivities with a fostering recruitment stand, spreading the word that Tusla welcomes all families to support us to make a positive impact in children’s and young people’s lives.

A spokesperson for Tusla in Cork said: “Fostering can be an incredibly rewarding experience - for anyone considering fostering a child or young person they can visit fostering.ie or call 1800-226771 for more information."
