New Jeep Compass boasts advanced technology

The Jeep Compass has been a symbol of capability and its latest generation brings the Jeep experience into the modern era, blending the brand’s iconic design with a new level of sophistication and advanced technology.

Every aspect has been rethought to offer a vehicle that performs superbly everywhere: on city streets, highways, and even the most challenging off-road trails.

“The New Compass it’s a bold statement of Jeep’s vision for the future of mobility,” said Fabio Catone, Head of Jeep Brand in Enlarged Europe. “Compared to its predecessor, the New Compass marks a true evolution in performance, innovation and driver confidence. With a best-in-class capability, elevated comfort, a completely redesigned electrical architecture and a future-ready suite of advanced technologies, it redefines what modern driving should feel like.”

The New Compass presents generous proportions at 4.55 metres in length, alongside optimised aerodynamics. Key elements like cameras and radar units are now positioned higher to minimise the risk of damage during tough off-road driving.

The New Compass also benefits from new suspension tuning, developed to achieve the best possible balance between handling and comfort. They ensure a ground clearance of 200 mm.

The 4xe version will bring a further step forward in performance thanks to the new rear e-motor developed exclusively for Jeep Compass, capable of delivering 132kW and up to 3100Nm at the wheels, ensuring outstanding traction.

The new Jeep 2.0 mobile app, developed specifically for the New Compass, allows drivers to seamlessly manage key vehicle functions anytime, anywhere.

Another major advancement in this model is the introduction of Level 2 autonomous driving as a standard feature. The safety package is completed by state-of-the-art features such as the predictive adaptive cruise control (P-ACC) and semi-automated lane change. The P-ACC retains all the benefits of the traditional ACC Stop&Go but adds the ability to adapt the speed according to road profile, speed limits, and upcoming curves or roundabouts. The system automatically slows down before a bend and accelerates smoothly once the road straightens.

Italian design inspired by an icon

The new Fiat Grande Panda will soon make its debut in Ireland equipped with both electric and hybrid powertrains, taking on the entire B-segment. The new Fiat Grande Panda, the first model of the new global family, truly represents the Italian brand for its Italian design, compactness, inclusivity, and sustainability.

Designed at the Centro Stile in Turin, the Fiat Grande Panda is notable for its compact size and features clean lines with a well-organised interior. The car’s robust and structured appearance, along with its dynamic wedge-shaped design, emphasises its strength and distinctive character.

The Panda from the ‘80s is living a second life thanks to the new model. This is the first time that ‘Grande’ does not mean large. The Grande Panda is unusual for its compact size—a 3.99 metres in length — below the segment average — from 1.57 metres in height and 1.76 metres in width, offering comfort for 5 people.

The firstborn in Fiat’s new family will be available in both electric and hybrid versions. With a 44kWh battery and an 83kW e-motor (113 HP), the electric Grande Panda offers 320km of range, making it the perfect vehicle for urban daily use and weekend getaways.

The electric Fiat Grande Panda boasts a maximum speed of 132 km/h and a 0-50 km/h acceleration in 4.2 seconds (0-100 km/h in 11 seconds).

The hybrid version is equipped with a turbo 1.2 litre, 3-cylinder engine, 100 HP, a 48-volt Li-ion battery, and the 6-speed electric dual-clutch transmission.

The Fiat Grande Panda features a suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Options include parking assistance with rear sensors, as well as assisted driving features like cruise control, speed limiter, active safety brake and lane keeping assist.

The New Fiat Grande Panda is due to arrive in Ireland from February 2026, in both electric and hybrid with prices starting from €22,995.
