Purr-fect ending

Earlier this week, the Red Watch crew from Cork City Fire Brigade responded to a call about a cat that had been missing for two weeks.

At 4am, the owners heard faint cries coming from inside a wall in their home and alerted crews from Cork City Fire Brigade.

Taking to social media, Cork City Fire Brigade said: “With the owners’ consent, our urban search and rescue-trained personnel carefully created a small opening in the wall and, using our thermal imaging camera successfully located and rescued the cat.”

The four legged pal was removed safely and reunited with her very relieved and happy owners.
