Charleville in Tipp top shape
A Cork financial planning practice has been acquired by a company based in Tipperary, it was announced this week.
BMC Financial Planning in Charleville made the announcement on Monday that it had been bought by SYS Financial.
BMC Financial Planning was founded by Dave Bartley in 2008, providing a broad range of services including pensions, investments, life and income protection, and long-term financial planning. Both Dave Bartley and Financial Adviser Denis Eivers will remain with the firm as it integrates with SYS Financial. Dave Bartley, Founder and Director of BMC Financial Planning, said: “This move ensures continuity for clients while giving them access to a broader team of specialists and enhanced resources, without losing the relationship-led approach that has always defined BMC Financial Planning. SYS Financial shares that commitment to personal service and impartial advice and brings the scale, expertise and infrastructure needed in today’s environment.”
The acquisition has added €85 million to SYS Financial’s client assets under management (AUM), bringing its total AUM to more than €800 million. With further acquisitions in the pipeline, SYS Financial is targeting €1.3 billion by the end of quarter two in 2026.
Tony Delaney, CEO of SYS Financial, said: “We are delighted to welcome BMC Financial Planning into SYS Financial. Dave Bartley, Denis Eivers and the team have built a strong reputation over many years for clear, impartial advice and long-term client relationships. Bringing BMC and its clients into SYS Financial is about preserving that quality of service while strengthening the support structure behind it.”
