Savoury treat at the menu launch.

Summertime and the livin’ is easy at The Oriel

Last Thursday I attended the launch of the brand new Bar and Bistro menu in the Oriel House Hotel in Ballincollig.

An evening of networking, bubbles and great food was the order of the night where the team got to showcase their new refurbished courtyard area as well as their Easy Go EV electric charge points which take just 45 minutes to charge. So while you dine in style at the bistro or enjoy a coffee for a meeting in the foyer, your vehicle is charging. The new menu has something for everyone and the space in the bar and bistro area is modern and can accommodate groups for communions and graduations. The hotel also caters for weddings and conferences so an intimate gathering was no problem to them. Deep fried calamari, superfood salads, burgers and curries are all available as well as a myriad of divine desserts. The Oriel House Hotel is family friendly as well and they recently refurbished some of their family rooms. In attendance was Lord Mayor of Cork Deirdre Forde and Chairperson of Ballincollig Business Association Emer Cassisy of AIB. The Lord Mayor spoke of all the superb businesses in Ballincollig and the opportunities available for networking. Emer had a very special accolade on the night for the Oriel House Hotel. They were awarded Ballincollig Business of the Month for March 2023, which was a great way to conclude a gorgeous evening!
