Bluey wins election

A montessori school in Bishopstown held their own election this week. Scoil An Spioraid Naoimh Montessori teachers wanted to do something to help the children understand why there are so many election posters hanging up in the community so they decided to hold their own school election.

The children voted for who they would like to see as the boss of the school. The children have been busy learning about what an election is and they have put up their own posters in the classroom and an election booth. They voted for their favourite TV character among a list that includes Peppa Pig, a Minion and Bluey.

The winner of the election was the cartoon character Bluey. She won by just one vote, with the Minion coming in second place.
