Inspiration awaits at East Cork school
At St Aloysius’ College, Carrigtwohill, they believe school should be more than just a place of learning; it should be a community where girls feels inspired, supported and empowered to shine.
Guided by the motto ‘Care, Encourage, Challenge’, the school aims to create an environment where every girl is valued, nurtured and motivated to reach her full potential.
From the very first day, their aim is to make each and every student feel welcomed and supported. Strong relationships between teachers and students, founded on mutual respect and encouragement, make St Al’s a safe, positive space to grow in confidence and independence.
Their students consistently achieve exam results well above the norm. Over the past five years, they have had multiple students achieve 625 points, with on average over 21% of our students getting more than 550 CAO points (compared to a national average of 12%).
With the guidance of dedicated teachers who know each student individually, your daughter will be cared for, encouraged to aim high and challenged to achieve their very best. No matter what her ability is, they want to help her achieve her dreams and goals.
Learning doesn’t stop at the books and there are so many other ways to succeed and grow in this school. Whether she’s passionate about sport, debate, music, drama or leadership, your daughter will be encouraged to explore these new opportunities, challenged to step outside of her comfort zone and cared for as she discovers who she truly is.
As an all-girls school, they know how powerful it is when young women are given the space and opportunities to speak up and to be heard. At St Al's curiosity is encouraged, individuality is celebrated, and every student is empowered to lead with confidence, not just in school, but in life.
Join them at the open night on 25 September to see and experience what makes St Aloysius’ College so special. It runs from 5.45- 8pm and the principal’s address is at 7.30pm.
