Over the decades, the Wong family has proudly brought authentic Chinese dining to Cork, beginning with the Yangtze River on Barrack Street in the late 1960s, followed by The Ambassador Restaurant in 1987, and later, The Royal Pacific in 2005.
Each chapter has carried forward the same dedication to quality, tradition, and warm hospitality that continues today.
Since opening its doors in September 2005, this modern and contemporary restaurant has become a favourite gathering spot for families, friends, and groups alike.
Conveniently located on the first floor of the Owenabue Mall, it offers ample free parking and full wheelchair accessibility via lift, making it easy and comfortable for all guests to visit. The restaurant welcomes diners six days a week from 5pm until late (closed on Tuesdays), creating the perfect setting for everything from a quiet meal to a lively group celebration. Its warm and inviting atmosphere is highlighted by a softly lit display of traditional Chinese art, blending culture and elegance in a truly unique way.
Guests can enjoy a full wine, beer, and spirits menu alongside an extensive food selection, with take-out available for those who prefer to bring the flavours home. Large parties are well catered for, with space to comfortably accommodate groups of up to 40 people.
To celebrate their 20th anniversary, they’re offering 10% off on all dining-in and take-out orders from until 14 September! They are closed on Tuesdays, but open every other day from 5pm until late.
